The purpose of this method / type of drilling is to advance the borehole and explore the in-situ conditions of the subsurface in superficial deposits, soil and weak rock, conduct in-situ tests like SPT, to record the Ground water table, and collect small disturbed and bulk samples of soil, weak cemented sand and rock.
AHAM has a total of 14 percussion drilling rigs supplied by international well known manufactures, which are properly maintained and capable of achieving drilling depths of up to 30 meters. The rig types are:-
