Rotary Drilling |
The purpose of this method / type of drilling is to advance the borehole and explore the in-situ conditions of the subsurface in rock and retrieve rock core samples from the sub-strata. Due to its vast experience in the region, AHAM is capable of obtaining almost complete core recovery with the use of state of the art drilling bits and experience based drilling fluid. AHAM deploys in its work two major type of drilling mechanisms which are:-
- Traditional Rotary Drilling
- Wire line Technology
AHAM has a total of 13 rotary drilling rigs supplied by international well known manufactures, which are properly maintained and capable of achieving drilling depths exceeding 100 meters. These rigs can also be equipped to undertake percussion drilling. The rig types are:-
